  • Who is the camp for?

    We encourage registration from any and all representing nationalities of single skaters at the Novice, Junior, and Senior levels. Pair skaters and ice dancers who wish to improve their individual skating skills are welcome as well.

  • Do I need a visa?

    Citizens from the Schengen area, the European Union, the European Free Trade Association, as well as nationals from Canada, Japan, South Korea, and the United States of America do not require visas to enter and stay in Switzerland for up to 90 days.

    Nationals from China, Russia, and other countries may require a visa and can refer to the website of the Swiss Federal Office for Migration for detailed information.   • How can I prepare for the camp?

    The camp requires its attendees to come with prepared equipment, prepared programs and music, and of course mental and physical preparedness. For additional recommendations on what to bring with you, please refer to the checklist you will receive via email upon acceptance of your application.

  • Can I come with my coach and/or my parents?

    Yes, you may come with your parents and your coach. Accommodation for all can be arranged. If under 18, you must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Coaches are not permitted on the ice surface, but can give instructions from the barrier during the free ice periods.

  • Can I join the camp for a single week?

    Yes, you can also apply for just the first or the second week. However, We encourage students to stay for the whole duration of the camp.

  • What languages are spoken by the coaches?

    All our coaches speak English, and several of them speak either French, German, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.

  • What is the Skating School of Switzerland?

    The Skating School of Switzerland (3S) is a year-round training center for elite figure skaters to be opened soon in Champéry. The Summer Camp 2017 is one of the offerings of the School.
